Tarson Paper & Janitorial Supply Corp. has been sold to Hill & Markes, one of the largest Janitorial Supply companies in New York State, Bob Tarson Jr. announced today.
The Tarson’s accepted an offer from Hill & Markes because it is also a family run business, started over 100 years ago, and is the recipient of numerous awards for outstanding service, leadership, and employment in the communities they serve. “We are confident that Hill & Markes will provide our paper and janitorial customers with excellent service,” Tarson said.

This acquisition is one of many Hill & Markes has made over the past 25 years. Located in Amsterdam, New York the company services the entire state of New York and Vermont. Product lines include: Janitorial Supplies, Industrial Packaging, Food Service and Office Products. With specialists in each of these areas the goal is to provide innovative solutions with reliable products at a fair price.

55 salespeople together with 30 trucks servicing the state, this is an excellent acquisition for the company. Since Hill & Markes will be taking on Tarson Paper and Janitorial staff the transition will be made as seamless as possible.
